YouTube TV Sports Plan vs. DIRECTV MySports: What’s the Difference?

Some Michael Saves articles contain affiliate links, which help support my work as an independent content creator.

I compared the channel lineups for YouTube TV’s new Sports Plan and DIRECTV’s MySports plan. Both are lower-cost alternatives to the full pay-TV bundle.

I track deals for these services and more on MichaelSavesDeals.com.

Key Findings

  • Same regular price: $64.99/month
  • Promos: YouTube TV (longer) vs DIRECTV (shorter, bigger discount)
  • Both include: ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC
  • Only YouTube TV has The CW
  • Only DIRECTV has MLB Network, NHL Network and Tennis Channel
  • Only YouTube TV includes NBC Sports Network and NBC RSNs (several cities), plus Spanish & niche sports channels
  • DIRECTV includes ESPN Unlimited now; coming fall 2026 to YouTube TV

Note: DIRECTV removed several cable news networks from MySports in March 2026. Those are now available in a MySports and MyNews Duo bundle for $79.99/month.
