Visible, the Verizon-owned prepaid wireless service, has added a home internet perk that can save you money.
People who sign up for one of Visible’s two unlimited data plans are eligible for a discount of up to $10 per month on Verizon Home Internet.
As an existing Visible member, I took advantage of the home internet offer. Here’s what you need to know!
1. Discount Varies Depending On Your Visible Plan
Visible has updated its plan page to highlight the Verizon Home Internet offer.
Visible is trying to steer people toward its $45 per month premium plan called Visible+. With this plan, customers can receive a $10 monthly savings on Verizon Home Internet.
In addition, the Visible+ plan features premium data, access to faster 5G and more international features. Learn more here.
Although Visible’s plan page doesn’t boldly highlight a home internet discount for people who subscribe to its $30 per month plan, there’s good news for those customers.
Instead of a $10 monthly discount on Verizon Home Internet, people who have Visible’s cheaper plan can save $5 per month.
If you’re a longtime Visible customer who remains on the legacy Visible plan, you’re not eligible for this discount. You can upgrade to one of the new plans to take advantage of the offer.
Additionally, this offer is only available on new Verizon Home Internet plans.
2. Check Verizon Home Internet Eligibility
After you’ve signed up for a Visible plan that qualifies for the Verizon Home Internet discount, you’ll need to confirm eligibility on Verizon’s website.
Verizon offers several home internet options that vary depending on your location:
- 5G Home
- LTE Home
- Fios
After entering my address on Verizon’s website, I qualified for the 5G Home Internet service. This internet solution uses Verizon’s 5G wireless network to provide service to your home.
It’s similar to the T-Mobile Home Internet service that I’ve reviewed on my website and YouTube channel.
3. Compare Verizon 5G Home Internet Plans
If you qualify for Verizon 5G Home Internet, there are two plans to choose from: 5G Home and 5G Home Plus. The more affordable 5G Home service will be adequate for most people.
Verizon 5G Home is normally $50 per month with Auto Pay.
Depending on your Visible discount, that drops the price to either $40 or $45 per month.
Verizon 5G Home Internet has no hidden fees that other internet service providers charge. Unlimited data and a Wi-Fi 6 router are included in the price. There are no contracts.

IMPORTANT: The $25/month pricing for Verizon Home Internet is for people who have specific Verizon phone plans. The best home internet discount for Visible customers is $10 per month.
4. Enter Your Visible Promo Code
After you select a Verizon Home Internet plan, you must enter your Visible promo code before checkout.
If you’re new to Visible, a company spokesperson told me that you will receive a promo code for the home internet discount via email within 24 hours of signing up for Visible.
Existing customers should already have received their promo code. Mine was delivered on December 4, 2022. It had the subject line: “Visible members save $5/mo. on Verizon Home Internet with this promo code.”
I pay for Visible’s $30 base plan, so the home internet savings is $5 per month — not $10 that Visible+ members get.
Visible told me that it’s adding the promo code to a “Ways to Save” section of your My Account screen. This section is available from the Visible app and website.

5. Set Up Auto Pay With Verizon Home Internet
In addition to the Visible discount of $5 or $10 per month, you can save $10 a month by setting up Auto Pay for Verizon Home Internet.
I was not given the option to do this during the initial signup process, but I downloaded the My Verizon app and set up Auto Pay immediately after I activated the internet service.
To be clear, Visible will not bill you for home internet. You will receive a separate bill directly from Verizon.
Since Verizon Home Internet is a postpaid service (not prepaid like Visible), you’ll have to agree to credit check during signup. It’s a soft credit inquiry that won’t affect your score.
Final Thoughts
If you have Visible’s base plan and take advantage of this home internet deal, you’ll pay only $75 per month total. Best of all? No data caps for either your mobile phone or home internet service.

I particularly like this offer for people who switched to Visible and have tested it out for a period of time. That’s because if you cancel Visible, you’ll lose the internet discount.
Once you know that you’re satisfied with Visible, here’s my recommendation:
- Sign up for Verizon Home Internet to get the Visible discount
- Test Verizon Home Internet and keep your existing internet plan as a backup
- After three weeks, evaluate whether to keep Verizon’s plan
- If you keep Verizon Home Internet, drop your old internet service
I use three weeks as the evaluation period because Verizon 5G Home Internet has a 30-day guarantee. Cancel within a month and you’ll get a refund after returning the equipment.
